Large Adams style oval wine cooler with lining
A very impressive and grand Adams style large oval wine cooler in mahogany with brass mounts running around the whole cooler and the classic Adams style relief.
The cooler is lined, so you could use this as intended or as a jardiniere perhaps.
Certainly an impressive piece and in lovely original condition. Nothing more than a clean and currently having a few coats of rich beeswax.
Solid and sturdy piece.
Measuring:
23 1/4 or 59cm high
34 1/2’’ or 88cm wide
18’’ or 46cm deep
10’’ or 25cm internal height Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
