Large late 19th century carved and painted Tibetan Temple Lion,c1890.This is an impressive piece, very heavy and highly decorative. It is well carved with fine detail to the face, mane, teeth, claws etc. It is beautifully painted and has taken on great colour/patina following years of handling. Overall condition is good ,there is a small crack to the base which reflect an historic repair, but very minor.
