A very good quality pair of Italian leather bookends.

These have lovely gold tooled decoration to the fronts which is in good order.

The bases are covered in beautiful printed paper, one has a label for Giovanni Gherardini Firenze. This is a company founded in 1885 and were a luxury accessories brand.

Early 20th century.

They are in very good order, some wear to the leather on the edges and one is in slightly better condition than the other on the front, I am guessing this has been up against something else.
