This 19thC burr walnut writing box / slope is very original. All the brassware is in place and the plaque on the top has not been enscribed. There are secret drawers inside and a side drawer which is not at all a common find. The top folds back to display the original tooled black leather which is in surprisingly good condition. The walnut graining is impressive and we have given this a clean and a refresh so condition is very good as is the colour. A rare find this one, direct from one of our clients. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
