Heavy Silver Albert

T-bar hallmarked Birmingham 1885

T-bar maker probably Payton, Pepper & Co, Vyse Street, Birmingham.

Approximate dimensions: length 38cm with 2 x 5cm for fobs, weight 114.2 grams.

Modern clasp stamped sterling and 925 fitted.

The links of the albert are stamped with the lion passant but the stamps are very rubbed.

The big chunky graduated links are in very good condition.

Ideal match for a large silver pocket watch.

Unusual to come across such a heavy chain.
