Add instant style and elegance to a room with this mid 19th century wall mirror of medium size. Rectangular, the top corners are softened with a curve. The frame is classically styled, gadrooning interspersed with a flower palmette, and a beaded inner edge. It is made of wood, gessoed and then finished with gold leaf. The surface is original, gently distressed a very small amount of restoration was needed on the bottom edge. The mirror glass is also original, and distressed. In our view, the mirror simply shows its age, is still attractive and serves its purpose, but if you want a pristine glass, this mirror is not for you!
