This is a fine quality Vintage English Georgian style office chair, constructed of solid mahogany & brown leather swivel office armchair, which has been newly upholstered, circa 1980, in excellent condition. The desk chair is constructed in the style of the Gainsborough design, which was a popular style during the Georgian period. The armchair has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality full grain brown leather, finished with a deep buttoned back, sprung seat, hand tacked with brass studs. The chair is designed with a shaped back, secured my mahogany arms, with upholstered padding, which are raised on foliate carved, fluted down swept supports. The Georgian style office chair incorporates a large stuff-over sprung seat, which is exceptionally comfortable to sit on, but at the same time, you do not sink into it. The Georgian style office chair is raised on sabre splayed carved & fluted legs, which terminate on five new English made white mug & brass castors, which provide plenty of support.
The Georgian style office chair incorporates a revolving mechanism, allowing the chair to rotate 360 degrees, as well as being height adjustable, with a recline function. This brown leather desk chair is solid in joint and ready to use.
The Georgian style office chair displays a rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination, which can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This is a fine quality Vintage English Georgian style office chair, constructed of solid mahogany & brown leather swivel office armchair, which has been newly upholstered, circa 1980, in excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality full grain brown leather, finished with traditional hessian backing to the underside therefore, the leather is in very good condition, with no signs of wear, tear or damage. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. The mahogany chair frame has been cleaned and French polished by hand in our workshop, therefore the colour is of an excellent standard. The Georgian style office chair features a revolving mechanism, allowing the chair to rotate 360 degrees, as well as being height adjustable, with a recline function. The chair legs sit on five new English made white mug & brass castors, which are in excellent condition. This Georgian desk chair is solid in joint, very heavy (sign of quality) and ready to use.
