Beautiful Art Deco example of a wonderful butterfly brooch by Thomas Mott (TLM) of England - this is a particularly fine piece piece - substantial and beautifully set to a solid silver period silverback it is marked TLM Sterling England - super size, substantial measuring c. 1.5" inch x 1" inch dia, it depicts a fabulous paradise scene, set to a bay with boats and a small cottage amongst the dunes - all reverse painted to the clear immaculate glass cover. To the rear is a long pin and period c catch - As good as I have seen in a long time - it will delight the most discerning of collectors.
