Fine George II London 8 Day Longcase Clock
A Fine & Small George II period mahogany 8 Day London longcase clock.c.1755. Brass and silvered dial with rare moon phases to the top arch. Date aperture and seconds count to the matted centre. Five pillar movement striking on a bell to the hour. Made by Robert Ward of London (working 1751-75).Small proportioned case with arched top case door flanked by reeded brass inlaid pilasters. Pagoda top hood with side view windows repeated with brass inlaid pillars. Raised panel to the base. Superb flame veneers throughout. Stands 86"high. Fully overhauled.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
Packing and postage charges for mainland UK are shown for most items on this website. Where an item is large or requires specialist delivery, please contact us with your postcode for a specific door-to-door delivery quote.
