Quite Rare Clock to find by William Ellement Single hand 30 Hour in an Oak Case with Caddy Top. Movement just been serviced and runs well. Had to source a Bell as the original was lost, case been re polished. Some restoration been carried out on the base of the case but a long time ago, but a good job was made. I have only found 3 other clocks made by William, however I know he looked after Tower Clock in the famous Medieval clock Tower that stands in the centre of St Albans. Our clock was made around 1730 We have been dealing in antiques for over 4o years and gained a vast amount of knowledge. We carry out research for most of our items giving our customers some history to their purchases.
We welcome collections especially clocks because of their delicate nature, however delivery can always be arranged.
Our business has recently been relocated to Horncastle from Scotland where we were known as West Bay Homes and Antiques changing our name due to location.
