Fine & Rare early French woodworking plane
Here we have a very FINE & RARE early 19th century French double iron woodworking plane of massive size by GOLDENBERG. Made from one piece of the most gorgeous coloured fruitwood which has the most wonderful patination. Lovely shape and design with integerel grease pot at the front end.
This plane is a massive 43" long and is in exceptionally good original condition. Both original blades which are nearly full length and are both stamped with the makers name and trade mark.
This is one of the biggest planes I have ever seen by this maker and is un-doubtably of museum quality.
