Ercol Quaker Back Windsor Dining Carver Chair
An Ercol mid century carver dining chair, dating from the 1950s-70s . The Quaker chair is a high back version of their ever popular Windsor chair, appearing in the 1959 Ercol catalogue as model no. 365A. It is solid beech with an elm seat, which Ercol describes as oyster-shaped. Part of a blue Ercol label remains on the reverse, dating the chair to 1954-76.

Overall Height 96.5cm, Width 61cm, Depth 55cm.
Seat Height 42cm, Width 42cm, Depth 37.5cm.
The chair is comfortable with solid joints. It has been stripped and finished with protective oil and wax.
