This is a very good quality English yew wood Georgian style swivel red leather high back office armchair (circa 1980).
The chair features the original deep-buttoned red distressed leather, a high arched back and arms. The chair features its original seat studwork it has elegant shaped reeded arms, which are supported by spindles. The base of the chair features elegant splayed yew wood legs and the original castors. The chair has a classic mellow warm yew wood colour. The chair rotates 360 degrees and has a reclining action and the height can be adjusted. The chair is very comfortable and has a fantastic colour. The chair is in very good original condition, which is what gives the lovely patination and colour this has been generated by the years of cleaning and care it has have received.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms in the home, especially the office or study as it is so comfortable. This item would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

The chair is in very good working order and it is completely original. It has the original working mechanism, leather and castors, lifts up and down and reclines. The leather is in excellent original condition with minor wear and colour variation (see photos). Please remember, the chair uses distressed leather which is intended to give an old / worn “look”. Free of worm-worm, nominal old use marks, solid in joint and ready to use.
