Dutch Landscape Tower Ruins in Winter 19th century
Signed: Fredrik Marinus Kruseman (1816 - 1882), Dutch painter who specialized in Romantic style landscapes. Antique oil painting on canvas, signed, framed.
Size app.: 20.2 x 27 cm (roughly 8 x 10.6 in), frame 33 cm x 40 cm (roughly 13 x 15.7 in). Very good ready to hang condition with wear notable at close examination. Please study high-res pictures for cosmetic condition! In person actual item may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment. Weight of app. 1.8 kg is going to measure some 3 kg volume weight packed for shipment.
Kruseman's received his first drawing lessons from Jan Reekers (1790 - 1858) and attended the Vocational School in Haarlem from 1832 to 1833. That year, he began to study painting with Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom and, in 1835, moved to the Gooi, where he took advanced studies with Jan van Ravenswaay. He also studied briefly with the landscape painter, Barend Cornelis Koekkoek.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available on the post office website.

We sell items to Buyers using most convenient and common terms of sale. Items are being shipped upon full payment reception. Packing and shipment of items is carried out within 1-5 days from the date of receipt of payment (the timing depends on the size and complexity of manufacturing individual packaging for safe transit).
