Fine scratch built model of a steam train,c1960. This is a lovely piece of folk art that would have taken many hours to construct. The train is solid and heavy, made from hand painted metal with brass fittings and even the wheels function. It sits on a wooden plinth which includes a track and buffers at each end. This is topped with a Perspex case. It displays really well and is a great piece of Railwayana.
