This is a beautiful pair of mid 19th century Japanese mirrors in lovely red lacquer frames, hand painted with gilded cranes. The frames are a deep rich red colour with a beautiful glowing patina to the antique lacquer. The mirrors appear to be the original plate glass in nice clean condition with only a few very minor ageing speckles. The pictures have overall dimensions of 30.5 cms by 36.5 cms.
