Attractive French Carved Oak King Size Bed Frame
A lovely king sized bed frame. We date this bed to the second half of the 20th century.
The bed comes in three sections, the head and footboards and the side rails.
The bed requires a slatted base or a frame to support a mattress.
The bed sits on attractive carved legs and the side rails have a lovely carved edge. The headboard and footboard both have lovely carved panels.
The headboard has a height of 44.5" (113cm) and the footboard a height of 30" (76cm), both 63" (160cm) wide and overall length 86” (219cm). The base will support a mattress 75" (191cm) long by 60" (153cm) wide.
This lovely bed remains in very good solid condition with some minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
This remains a very stylish and elegant bed which will continue to provide sweet repose for many years to come.
