Arts & Crafts carved oak mirror with squirrel
Arts & Crafts mirror or over mantle with a carved frieze below the mirror plate depicting a squirrel amongst acorns and leaves getting ready for winter. Beautifully executed and most probably the work of Arthur Simpson.
The mirror plate is bevelled edges and has some spotting but otherwise
offered in excellent condition,
Width at top 75cms, Width below 67cms. Height 64cms. Depth at top 18cms. When hung the squirrel carving would be at eye level and a delight to look at
