French Artisan Secrétaire desk in solid Cherry. Mid 20th Century from celebrated craftsman Christian Robert, who previously sold in Liberty's of London. . This is a wonderful piece of antique furniture, with a drawer to the top, a central shelving area which opens up with a leather writing surface, and a double door cupboard below. All locks are in working order, and two keys are supplied. This bureau has benefitted from a light restoration, and is now available to view. There is a clear and distinct makers mark to the back of the piece which matches the quality of the item.
