This is a marvellous Art Deco guilloche mirror and brush set, Birmingham 1933. The set comes with its original case with its original moiré taffeta interior. Within the case is secured a hand mirror, a hair brush, a lint brush and a comb. Each have the silver and maker stamps of the Adie Brothers, who were one of the leading firms known for making these brush and mirror sets in the Art Deco period.

The set is in excellent condition as is the case the set comes in. The interior has a detachable section that is also made of the moire taffeta fabric. This functions as protection, keeping the pieces from hitting each other in transit and breaking the enamel. The larger hand brush does have a slight chip at the base of the brush where it connects to the handle. This can best be seen in photo 5. Otherwise the enamel for the other pieces is in tact.
