We know little about this rug or its history. It has lovely colours and unusual decoration. It has been later converted into a wall-hanging with a pole sewn at the top. We would estimate it to date from the first half of the twentieth century, but it has been later backed.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The rug is grubby and dusty and has some discolouration and fading.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
