A lovely 19th century earthenware pottery garden seat in the original colourful glaze.
In very good condition, this type of decorative majolica garden ware was very popular around 1875 in Victorian country houses, pieces like this antique pottery garden seat were made to decorate grand conservatories and garden rooms amongst the plants.
This antique majolica seat is now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
