French Bistro Set - Table & 4 Chairs
This is a French bistro set comprising of folding table, 2 carver chairs and 2 armless chairs. It is a lovely set, showing just enough signs of use but still in good usable condition. The table has a nice circular top with cut out design. The top sits on wonderfully curved legs which are actually 2 legs which sit on top of each other at the center and so allow them to open and close so that the top can lift off and the legs can separate so you have 3 pieces. It is an easy put up/take down and the top and legs are secured by 4 nuts underneath. The chairs have matching curves. I love the heart shapes in them. The chair seats match the table top, but smaller. These sit on double cabriole shaped legs. They are very pretty. There are signs of its life so please look at the pictures carefully, it’s patina is its joy but if you like new and pristine it may not be for you. This design is still going strong today, it’s so nice.
The table is in good condition, the top secures on the base easily and the legs are firm. It stands well with no looseness or wobbles. The chairs are also in good usable condition. Its a nice set.
The table measures 97cm in diameter x 73cm tall. The chairs measure 47cm wide x 45cm deep x 91cm tall to the back. The carvers are slightly wider at 52cm. The seats of both types are 43cm from the floor.
Delivery can be arranged, please ask for a quote with your postcode. Alternatively you are welcome to come and pick up from me in South Yorkshire or send your own courier.
