A gorgeous Irish antique, 9ct gold, Ruby, pearl and diamond swallow brooch.

A gorgeous design with the swallow above a pretty stylised gold bamboo branch.

The swallow, wings outstretched is Adorned with seed pearls and a single Ruby.

The swallow carries a small rose gold love heart set with a single diamond chip which moves and shimmers when worn.

Hallmarked for 9ct gold, c1912-16, maker is Gibson and Co Ltd, Belfast.

It is increasingly difficult to find older Irish antique jewellery pieces and even more so in the original box.

It comes in its original leather covered box for Gibson Jewellers, a lovely find in its original box, this would make a lovely gift for someone special.

Condition:
Very good used condition overall, some wear to the little heart, possibly a replacement, wear to the box, brooch near mint.
