Always highly sought-after, these popular and hard to find jars are quite charming with the beautifully cast brass face of a handsome owl still retaining his original glass eyes.

The cut glass jar is topped with the handsome brass lid which fits perfectly, the brass not over-polished, with a couple of very minor tiny dents (insignificant and mentioned purely for accuracy). Overall, excellent condition, dating to around 1900. The lid diameter measures 2" and the jar and lid stand 1 1/2" tall.
