A beautiful and unusual antique burr walnut blanket chest / trunk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

It is of superb quality, with absolutely gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns. The front & side of this trunk has raised fielded panels. There are high quality cast iron carry handles on the sides, and this sits on bracket feet. The interior is teak lined and contains lots of storage space.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
