A pair of vintage mid-20th Century African Fang tribal hand-carved wooden reliquary statues, c1950. Both are nicely carved in a traditional manner and have a great tribal look.

They have aged well - with good patina/colour, and are in good original condition with only minor surface age-related wear. There are a few dormant woodworm holes in the larger statue, but condition is very much as you would expect from pieces that are now 70 years old.
