A Swiss 'Black Forest' Carved Linden Wood Eagle, beautifully carved with fine detail and with a metal maker's plate to the reverse 'SCULPTURES BINDER/FABR. BRIENZ, DEPOT LUCERNE/SUISSE' 470mm high, 560mm wide and 240mm deep. Circa 1930. Swiss. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
