Of simple and stylish form, and designed in the 1950s, this Gordon Russell sideboard is ornamented only by the figure of the mahogany veneer on the drawer and cupboard fronts and its brass ring handles. The carcass is constructed of solid teak, one drawer is fitted for cutlery and the shelf inside the cupboard is shaped to allow bottles to stand. It bears a Gordon Russell label on the back.
