A George III period carved Panel.
Possibly Scottish , A George III period ( 1738 - 1820) carved chestnut panel depicting a stag with an acorn in its mouth , with a garland of fruit tied up with ribbon bows. The carving is of superb quality and has a fantastic patina, the panel is set within an ebonised moulded frame and is in excellent condition.
