Antique quality 19th Century Italian gilt overmantle or wall mirror. Foliate design with a lovely charm and elegance.
This is a lovely, rare mirror. Great frame in very good condition… looks great. Most of the original gilding remains with only minor losses and touching up.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. No woodworm.
The bevel edge mirrored glass is in good condition with minor imperfections, very light oxidation and a clear and sharp reflected image.
Overall maximum dimensions: 74cmH x 63cmW x 5cmD. Mirrored glass 49cmH x 38cmW. Could be hung in portrait or landscape.
In very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture. Later plywood back.
