19th Century Carved French Wooden Fairground Penguin


This is a superb Piece of Folk Art, it is carved from solid wood, and has rather shabby paint

The Cheeky little chap has a some cracks produced by ageing and drying out of the wood as you might expect after all these years
He is unrestored but very sound, an interesting piece originating from a traveling Fairground
Our delightfull Penguin is 50” high and 24” wide (at the beak)
