1960’s Rock ‘n’ Rest Armchair by Rastad & Relling
This stunning vintage armchair is called the rock ‘n’ rest chair, it was designed by the Scandinavian duo Rastad & Relling. This dates from the 1960’s, it is fully restored and in superb condition. It is one of the most comfortable armchairs ever designed! The chair has a lever which can lock the chair into a reclining or upright position, or it can be relaxed into a rocking chair. It rocks gently on a heavy duty spring, the mechanism is all sound and in good working order. The frame is solid oak with a teak veneer on the upper arms, the wood has all been stripped and re-polished, it is in perfect condition. This has also been fully re-upholstered in a great quality blue wool fabric.
