A fantastic antique writing desk or bonheur du jour, in mahogany and leather. This is in the antique Georgian style, it was made in England, and dates from around the 1950’s.

It is of superb quality and has lots of nice features. There is lots of storage space in the drawers below the writing surface, the back gallery also contains smaller drawers, two small cupboards and pigeon hole compartments. The leather is hand coloured with tooled edges, the mahogany has a beautiful colour tone and patina. The back of this is also nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
