18th Century Flemish Carved Oak Court Cupboard

This is a very attractive piece of carved oak antique furniture, the top section which has the date 1712 carved in the centre has a long cupboard enclosed by 2 doors, each has deeply carved panel, beneath there is a long drawer and beneath this there are a further 2 cupboards also enclosed by carved doors
The carved panels depict scenes from the countryside with bocage and characters wearing clogs and working in the fields, the carving is in deep relief with a certain naive quality
The cupboard is in good condition with brass fittings and a wonderful patina

The cupboard is 55” high, 42” wide and 21” deep
