Oval cut sapphire in an unusual setting

The colour is a darkish blue.

It has a small nibble on the girdle on one side.

Otherwise in very good condition.

Approximate dimensions: sapphire 7.8mm x 6.1mm, setting 15mm long x 14.3mm wide, shank 3mm wide, 1.3mm thick, weight 4.4 grams.

Supplied in a modern ring box.
