A 16th century English oak linenfold bed head

Fine linenfold panels with the muntins carved with rosettes.

Originaly of larger size ,it has been adapted over the years like a majority of these pieces,apart from being a bed ,it has been a cupboard with the central panel still hinged,but locked,i have left it this way in case any body with vision would like to put it back to a cupboard.

Good colour and a very imposing piece.

I am also listing a pair of linenfold panels of the same design which were also used as doors ,i presume when this was of larger size.
