Description
A rare English delft colander, the outer face of the bowl decorated with a peacock with foliage surroundings showing an oriental influence in the decoration, and probably made in London or Bristol circa 1760-1780.The colander has some old damages and chips commensurate with age but is generally in good condition for its age.
