A 19th century oil on tin after Dutch artist Caspar Netscher C1634 - 1689. The picture depicts a male lute player and a woman reading and is painted after the original which was painted in 1685. On the back of the panel is a some writing in French - Le consort et fresco perhaps?The panel is in good condition and is superbly painted.
