Description

A fine 17th century Dutch portrait of a lady. brilliantly painted , the portrait shows a beautiful young woman with her long hair tied back, and ringlets dangling at the sides of her head. With her head slightly turned to her left, she wears a pearl neckless with matching earrings, and an extravagant low cut silk like dress.
The portrait is housed in a gilt carved period frame, the canvas has a couple of very minor losses to paint work commensurate with age. Overall it is in excellent condition.
