Description

A superb quality Regency Lyre end side/work table. Made from the finest flame mahogany and having inlaid boxwood stringing throughout. The lockable lift up lid reveals a compartment with divided sections and below this is a single drawer which also has a lock and key. Nicely shaped to the front which leads down to the lyre ends which also have inlay to the mahogany and then having brass rods within the lyre. The overall condition is very good, however where the veneers have moved we have restored and filled where necessary, this can be expected with a piece of furniture nearly 200 years old. Lovely patina.
