Lovely Quality Early 19th Century Mahogany Bookcase of unusually narrow and handsome proportions. The shaped pediment over a single glazed door enclosing four adjustable shelves with applied scrolled carved brackets to the sides. In turn over a full width drawer above a panel door enclosing a further shelved cupboard again with scrolled brackets to the sides . All raised on a plain plinth base. Both sections with working locks and keys. Classic straight lines.. pleasing proportions ...quality storage and display!English : Circa 1830- 1840
