Description

A late Victorian bookcase heavily decorated throughout with finely carved detail to the whole piece. The lower panels have hanging game (A Hare and Pheasant) carved to the central panels and ribboned fruits to the sides. The barley twist supports are simple but give a great effect to the whole piece. Overall in very good condition with working locks and keys. Cleaned and wax polished in our workshops. The bookcase splits into 5 pieces (full length base, 3 mid central units and cornice to the top) for easier transportation.
