Description

This is a good quality oak side by side bureau bookcase from the late 1920's. The centre sunk bureau is well fitted with drawer and shaped compartments combined with a tooled leather writing surface to the fall. Alongside are two cupboards with astragal glazed doors and 3 shelves to each side. When the lower central cupboard is opened, it allows you to open a secret drawer that appears to be a carved oak frieze externally. Of its type this is a superior version and is in super condition, ready to use and display.
