Description

A lovely sectional oak bookcase of unusual design by Globe-Wernicke(1899-1955), the company patented this style of stacking bookcase 'elastic bookcases'. Of noteable above average quality this piece has a drawer to the base section, then three up and over doors with leaded windows. The top section has two doors and a central 'cubbyhole' (which is a design not seen on too many sectional bookcases) and finished with an overhanging top. Keys to the top doors are present and the locks are working. Overall the condition is very good and is ready to use and enjoy.
