Description

This is a good quality solid oak bureau bookcase with a well carved frieze below the attractive caddy top which sits above a pair of astragal glazed windows and a fully fitted cantilever interior(one which slides forwards upon opening the sloped fall). The three drawers to the base have a strong Jacobean influence with the geometrically shaped mouldings and the stretchered base adjoins lovely baluster legs to the front. All together this is a stylish and useful piece of antique furniture in excellent condition, wax polished and cleaned in our workshops.
