Description

This is a wonderful Georgian mahogany wine/tea table of very small proportions. Unusually the rear leg that swivels round to support the folding top is of split construction. The demi lune top opens to give a circular surface and the tapering turned legs terminate on a simple pad foot. Aside from a couple of later pine supports to the underside this table is in excellent original condition, with a good patina and only a few marks and blemishes, nothing you wouldn't expect at over 250 years old. A fine and rare piece of beautiful Georgian elegance.
