Description

A good sturdy set of six Georgian mahogany chairs in the Sheraton manner. The main back rail has simple ebony stringing to match the spheres let onto the lower back rail. One chair has had the feet tipped(this was usually done either due to stone floors wearing the feet or in this case slightly reduced in height to use as a nursing chair) unless pointed out you probably would never notice. Overall considering they are over 200 years old their condition is very good, the mahogany has mellowed into a lovely deep warm colour. Classic restrained Georgian furniture. Waxed and cleaned in our workshops and ready for upholstery. (We could arrange upholstery)
