Description

A solid oak twin pedestal desk with Elizabethan and Gothic overtones and of a good working size. The aged red leather top is surrounded to all sides with carved gadrooning above a lunette frieze to the drawers and all sides. The lower drawers have a Gothic style bind fret, all sat on carved baluster legs. This desk is finished on all sides and can be used off the wall to show itself off fully. This is a great piece of high Victoriana and is in excellent condition with only a few small chips to the carving and minor blemishes to the leather. Cleaned and wax polished ready to use.
