A striking Art Nouveau marble top washstand from the late Victorian period.The tiles are probably Minton and are most unusual with the turquoise backdrop to the flowers, foliage and seeded fruits. They have light crazing, only noticeable when close up . The high quality marble top is a mixture of pinks, greys, whites and salmon. With no cracks or chips.Th base is of typical design and made from solid Mahogany. The handles, castors and towel rail are all original. The whole piece is of high quality and in very good condition throughout.
